The present volume, entitled „THE ROMANIAN PATRIARCHATE. History, structure, Internal and external activities [2007-2017]”, provides a concise description, both in text and images, of the manifold and relevant activities conducted by the Romanian Patriarchate over the last decade.

These activities demonstrate the dynamism of the various areas of church life: the administrative, educational, social-philanthropy, cultural, patrimonial ones; monuments and ecclesial buildings; the mass-media and publishing activities as well as foreign relations and Romanian communities abroad.

By these initiatives, the Romanian Orthodox Church pursues its mission in the Romanian society, evincing a constant preoccupation with the spiritual life of all the faithful, the religious education of youth, and the aid offered to vulnerable persons.
